Tom Nicholls
Tom is the editor and main author of How the Energy Works: an Insiders' Guide. He has worked as an energy journalist for 13 years and is also editor of Petroleum Economist, one of the world's most respected energy publications. He is a graduate of Oxford University.
Edouard de Guitaut
Edouard is a director of The Petroleum Economist Ltd. He runs the official publishing activities for the triennial conferences hosted by the World Petroleum Council, the International Gas Union and the World Energy Council. In 2003, Edouard set up the Petroleum Economist for Schools programme. Edouard is responsible for maintaining links between industry and academia.
Ana Lopez
A qualified teacher, Ana is a graduate of Cadiz University and holds an MA in linguistics from London University. She moved to the UK from Spain in 1992 and worked in the marketing department of the Economist newspaper for eight years. Ana is responsible for the distribution process of our books and administers the university network.
Caroline de Guitaut
Caroline is an art historian and Assistant Curator of the British Royal Collection. She is the author of the best-selling Fabergé in the Royal Collection and has contributed to a number of art books, including Fabergé Flowers and Royal Treasures, as well as various international art magazines. She has curated the last three exhibitions for the annual summer opening of Buckingham Palace. Caroline is a graduate of London University and is responsible for administration.
